WELL BLOCKS
This piece is made of 80%alumina 10% carbon. Low wettability property of Alumina-Carbon products leading to the high abrasion and corrosion re-sistance caused by molten slag. High compressive strength to high pressure molten metal &Resistance to thermal shock through filling and pour-ing are some of the main characteristics. These blocks are placed at the bottom of the ladle in which the ladle nozzle (ladle well block) & the porous plug is placed (well block for porous plug).
